These are an old and cherished victorian design. They are reed bodied on porcupine quill stems, fixed top and bottom and used very much like a smaller stick float. They are perfect for close in river situations where sensitivity is key. They have proved their worth in recent seasons on rivers like the Wensum trotting maggots and casters over big spooky roach and chub. The float is ideally suited to fishing over depth and laying on in the margins as dusk approaches. A killing method!
